Our baby has some jaundice. After 3 days of photo therapy at the maternity center, the level dropped from 13 mg/dL to 11+ mg/dL. So every morning, I’ll bring baby out for 10 to 20 minutes of sun exposure. He usually sleeps at that time.

Baby’s second night was slightly less tiring for us. Maybe we’ve get used to waking up several times at night. As usual, baby cried a few times for milk. My wife fed him with breast milk.  And since I don’t have any breast milk, I fed baby with cow’s milk.

The nurse picked up the phone and told me, “Your baby has bacteria infection. Doctor will explain in detail to you.”

This didn’t sound good. Why our baby couldn’t come home smoothly? I told my wife about this. And she looked disappointed too.

My wife is okay and went back home on Wednesday. But our baby is still at the maternity center. He has to receive two antibiotic jabs every day. Poor baby…  :(

In my small hometown Kluang, Gunung Lambak (Mountain Lambak) is our only recreational area. Local folks come over here to climb this hill for exercise. They also enjoy its fresh air and nice scenery. Once a while, wild monkey and squirrel can be seen too.

So let’s begin our journey. Here we come, Gunung Lambak!
