Worth it to buy Samsonite?
Do you use backpack or luggage bag? If yes, you may have the dilema of choosing between a cheaper bag or a more expensive bag such as Samsonite. For the price of one Samsonite bag, you can often buy 2 or more cheaper bags.
So is it worth your money to buy a Samsonite bag?
I think it definitely worth your money to invest in a Samsonite bag IF you always use it.
Samsonite backpack - simple and tough
7 years ago, I bought a Samsonite backpack for RM 120. This backpack has two simple compartments with zip. For this simple design, I can easily get other cheaper version at around RM 20 to 50. However until today, I never regretted this purchase because I’m still using it after 7 years. I guess those cheaper backpack can only last a year or two. So in the long run, Samsonite bag is much cheaper.
For my Samsonite backpack, the zip still functions smoothly. The backpack strip is still intact even though I sometimes carry a few kilograms of stuff with it. Until today, I still love to carry it around when I’m on trip.

If you often use your bag, Samsonite definitely worth your investment. But if you seldom use it, maybe once a year, buying a Samsonite is not worth it.
