Don't take away my milk bottle!
See! Our baby can hold milk bottle on his own!
Now we don’t have to hold the milk bottle for him and wait until he finishes his milk. We are free to do our work while baby is drinking milk. Isn’t it great?
Oppsss… I am just kidding
Our 5-week-old baby still cannot hold milk bottle on his own. His finger is still not flexible enough and he cannot fix his hand in certain position for long. If he drinks milk for 20 minutes, we have to stay with him for 20 minutes too. So my wife thought of a clever way to fix his milk bottle position.

Drinking milk on my own
You can use a tiny pillow to support milk bottle at the bottom. Then use a fabric strip with some weight at both ends (blue) to fix the bottle position. You can buy it at baby shop. Actually this strip is to be applied on baby’s stomach for comfort. But we found a better usage for it. Remember to put a handkerchief around baby’s neck to catch any milk spill.
This should let baby drink his milk comfortably for several minutes. Be sure to check on baby once a while. When the milk becomes lesser, you need to adjust the bottle’s height so that baby can continue drinking.
Once, baby’s milk bottle fell down and we didn’t see it. So baby continued to suck the blue fabric strip instead!
